Last night I finished a great book. The Memory Keepers Daughter, it is so amazing and it really makes you think about life. I could read it again. It has been on my reading list for a while and then I forgot about it until I saw it on my mom's book shelf. I picked it up and started reading it that night while Bryan did homework, I was hooked. If you haven't read it and you need a good book to read, read it. You wont regret it. The last 3 books I have read have been amazing. I took a stroll to the used book store today and I picked up 3 new books, today I am starting Mormon America, it looked super interesting and I thought it would be good to write about on my new blog. Follow my other blog at

Pass this along and have others follow it. It will be a great blog instead of me just rambling all of the time.
Thanks readers, whoever you are. Keep on reading.

New favorite book
I just finished this book last week.
I don't even know what to say.
It was so amazing.
If you haven't read it, I highly reccommend it.
Warning: it is a big graphic,
but also so beautiful in its own way.
It will seriously change your outlook on life,
I was sad when it was over.
Read it!
you won't regret it.
A dear teacher Mrs. Bean suggested this book while I was in
high school.
I saw it on my moms bookshelf a few weeks ago
and decided I wanted to give it a shot.
I am very glad I did.
Such an amazing story!
After you read it, we'll talk.

to my readers
Dear Readers,
I love you!
Thank you for always reading.
Comment.
I'd like to know that someone actually reads these instead of going
into cyberspace.

Best Sunday in a Long while
As some of you may know, ever since we got married and moved to Bountiful Bry and I have had some problems with our ward. Well, we started going to a different ward, and we'd hop around to different wards because of people we knew giving a talk in Sacrament, and things. Two months ago I finally met my visiting teachers, every time they tried to schedule before that either I was working, sick, or already had plans. The first time I met with them, I was really nervous as I never had a visiting teacher come over before in my life. When I first met with them they were super nice and they just got to know me.
Well, things in the ward hadn't really gotten better, and we hadn't been to our assigned ward in almost 3 months, we had either slept in and went to a different building, or we had a talk to go to.
A couple weeks ago I hit my year mark of my baptism, and I feel like this year I have not progressed and learned as much as I should have in my first year as a member. We never went to class, we would go to sacrament and then just leave, and with bry working on Sundays mostly, it was easy for me to just sit in sacrament and then come home. I expressed my concern with my visiting teachers on Tuesday when they came over.
Today for the first time in a year I went to releif society and gospel principles. I was so happy, I am so glad that I did it. In relief society I met a lady and her husband is a convert who is not active in the church right now. They were married 2 years ago, and are still not sealed in the temple, she goes to the gospel princple classes so she can teach him more about the gospel at home. I sat next to her in sacrament and she was such a nice lady, it made me so greatful that even though I feel as I haven't progressed much, I am still continuing to attend church every week and take the sacrament.
I am so grateful that we are able to use the tools we have to learn about the church, and I am grateful for the gospel that no matter where you are in life, what trials you're going through, if you're active or not active in the church that the gospel is always there and if you're willing to accept it, it will always be a rock in your life.
