pets are family

2 months ago our lives changed more than we expected.
We went out and got a furry family member.
Here is how Copper came about, when we bought our house and got settled I kept begging Bryan to get a puppy. One night we are lying in bed and we start looking on KSL at basset hounds.
Back story; Bryan had a basset hound when he was younger and he always talks about this dog and how great he was, sadly the dog ran away and they never found him.

We saw this dog that was a basset beagle mix named Roscoe, he was so cute, so we called the number and no one ever replied, it was a Thursday. We kept looking on KSL and then on Sunday Bryan was at work and I looked on KSL and there was a cute dog that was claimed to be a beagle/basset mix. I texted the number and asked if they still had the dog and how much they were asking. The guy texted me back and said he still had the dog and that he was free, the dog was a friend of his that couldn't keep it anymore and didn't want to see it go to the pound. He wanted a good home for the dog, he said he lived in Ogden and could meet us.

Bryan pulls in and I run out so excited asking if we can go meet this dog. He said yes (he acted annoyed but he had a big smile on his face)  We met the guy ad the dog in the Tai Pan parking lot, he was so friendly and I looked at Bry and he said yes that we could get him. Copper hopped in the truck with us and away we went.

Wow, he is so hyper, and for those that say dogs aren't good preparation for kids, are wrong!!! This dog needs so much attention its crazy, but we are definitely never bored anymore.

New Year

It has been a while since I have blogged. With the holidays and moving life was pretty crazy!
But it's a new year and with that means fresh starts!
This year I am going to be more independent and have my own hobbies, I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I have been sewing a lot and I love it!

A resolution of mine this year is to keep up on the laundry and not let it pile up. I am so bad at putting laundry in the washer and then forgetting about it and then I have to rewash it. My goal is to do one load of laundry a day!

Another resolution is to find more friends that wont always bail on me, I really enjoy hanging  out with people and going out and doing things, but it seems everytime I try to make plans they always fall through. Anyone looking for a gal pal? Call me, or text me, no one really calls now days.

We are all settled into our place, and sadly Bryan went back to school today. :( We are loving our new place, except for the guy next to us who doesn't know how to shut his door quietly. Next blog post I will post pictures of our cute little place.
How was everyones new years?

xoxo Taylor
